Two Injured, Jennifer Phillips Arrested for Suspected DUI After Crash on Sierra Highway in Canyon Country
Canyon Country, CA – March 13 – Two people were injured, and a driver was arrested on suspicion of DUI following a crash Friday afternoon at a Canyon Country intersection, according to the California Highway Patrol. Authorities reported that the collision occurred shortly before 12:40 p.m. at the intersection of Sierra Highway and Vasquez Canyon Road. Preliminary information indicates that a Hyundai sedan and a Honda Accord were involved in the crash. Investigators have not yet determined the sequence of events that led to the collision. Emergency responders arrived at the scene and transported two individuals to Henry Mayo Newhall Hospital for medical treatment. Authorities have not provided an update on the severity of their injuries.
