Redding, CA – May 3, 2025 – Two motorcyclists were injured Saturday afternoon in a crash involving two motorcycles at the interchange of Highway 44 East and Interstate 5 Southbound, according to the California Highway Patrol. The collision occurred around 12:50 p.m. and resulted in major injuries for at least one of the riders. Emergency crews responded to the scene and transported both individuals to a nearby hospital for treatment. Tow trucks were called in to assist with clearing the scene. Authorities are continuing to investigate the circumstances leading up to the crash.
