Ventura, CA – One Dead, Three Hurt in Saturday Afternoon Collision on Loma Vista Road
Ventura, CA – A tragic crash in Ventura on Saturday afternoon resulted in one fatality and left three others injured, according to the Ventura Police Department. The accident occurred around 1:45 p.m. on February 15 at the intersection of Loma Vista Road and North Victoria Avenue. A GMC pickup truck and a silver Lexus SUV were involved in the incident . The GMC pickup was traveling north on Victoria Avenue when it attempted to make a right turn onto Loma Vista Road, colliding with the eastbound Lexus SUV. The impact caused the SUV to be pushed off the roadway and come to rest on its side in a nearby driveway.Two occupants of the SUV were extricated and taken to the hospital with serious injuries. Tragically, one of the seriously injured, a female, was later pronounced deceased at the hospital. The other occupant of the SUV and the two occupants of the pickup truck were also hospitalized, though their injuries were reported to be less severe.
