Fresno County, CA. – A pedestrian was fatally struck by a vehicle early Thursday morning near Parlier in Fresno County, according to the California Highway Patrol. The crash occurred at approximately 1 a.m. on Manning Avenue near Zediker Avenue. A 38-year-old man was walking in the area when he was hit by a Kia Optima driven by a 22-year-old man. The pedestrian, whose identity has not yet been released, was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the Kia was unharmed and remained at the scene to cooperate with authorities
