Motorcyclist Robert Adams Jr. Dies Weeks After San Diego Crash
San Diego, CA, April 21 – A motorcyclist injured in a mid-March collision in San Diego has died nearly a month after the crash, authorities confirmed. According to the San Diego Police Department and the County Medical Examiner’s Office, the victim was identified as Robert Lee Adams Jr., a 31-year-old San Diego resident. The incident occurred around 12:48 a.m. on March 17, 2026, in the 3400 block of Imperial Avenue. Investigators reported that Adams was riding a motorcycle when he lost control and slid underneath a sport utility vehicle under circumstances that remain under investigation. Adams suffered critical injuries in the crash and was initially transported to a hospital for advanced medical care. He was later transferred to Select Specialty Hospital San Diego, where he remained as his condition deteriorated.
