Motorcyclist Suffers Major Injuries in Crash on Interstate 405 Near Lakewood Boulevard in Long Beach
Long Beach, CA – March 17 – A motorcyclist sustained major injuries Tuesday morning following a collision on Interstate 405 in Long Beach, according to the California Highway Patrol. Authorities reported that the crash occurred at approximately 6:50 a.m. near Lakewood Boulevard. Preliminary information indicates that a motorcycle collided with another vehicle under circumstances that remain unclear. Investigators have not yet determined the events leading up to the crash. Emergency responders arrived at the scene and provided aid to the injured rider. Due to the severity of the injuries, the motorcyclist was transported to a hospital for medical treatment. Officials also noted that a separate two-vehicle collision resulting in property damage only occurred in the same area around the same time.
