San Diego, CA, August 10, 2025 – A 13-year-old girl suffered major injuries Sunday night after being struck by a vehicle while riding an electric motorcycle in the Black Mountain Ranch neighborhood, according to the San Diego Police Department. The collision occurred around 9:20 p.m. in the area of Babcock Street and Paseo Del.. Authorities said a Toyota pickup truck was traveling northbound on Babcock Street when it attempted to make a left turn at Paseo Del, colliding with a southbound motorcyclist. The young rider was transported to the hospital with a fractured right femur.
