According to San Diego police, the collision occurred around 6:20 p.m. in the 1400 block of Rosecrans Street near Fenelon Street. Authorities reported that a 42-year-old man was riding a KTM motorcycle southbound on Rosecrans Street when a vehicle traveling in the same direction suddenly made a right turn onto Fenelon Street, striking the motorcyclist. The impact caused the rider to be thrown from his motorcycle, resulting in injuries that required medical attention. The driver of the involved vehicle fled the scene immediately following the crash.
