San Leandro, CA – One person was injured in a two-vehicle collision Monday morning on Interstate 880 in San Leandro.

The crash occurred around 7:10 a.m. on the southbound 880 Freeway, just north of Washington Avenue. A silver Acura sedan collided with a black Honda for reasons that are still unclear, resulting in significant front-end damage to the Acura.

The injured person sustained minor injuries and was treated at the scene. No further details about the incident have been released.

Authorities are continuing to investigate the cause of the collision.
