South Los Angeles, CA – January 18 – One person was killed and another critically injured following a two-vehicle collision early Sunday morning in South Los Angeles. According to the Los Angeles Fire Department, the crash was reported at approximately 5:05 a.m. on January 18, 2026, in the 1300 block of West Slauson Avenue. Emergency crews responded to the scene and confirmed that one individual was pronounced deceased at the location. A second person sustained critical injuries and was transported to a nearby hospital for emergency treatment.
