One Killed, Multiple Injured in Rollover Crash on I-15 near Sierra Avenue
San Bernardino, CA, July 6, 2025 – A tragic rollover crash claimed one life and left several others injured Sunday evening, July 6, 2025, on the southbound Interstate 15 near the Sierra Avenue exit. According to the California Highway Patrol and San Bernardino County Fire, the accident occurred at approximately 6:51 p.m. between Glen Helen Parkway and Sierra Avenue. A white Ford Expedition SUV, believed to have suffered a tire blowout, veered off the northbound lanes into the center divider and overturned, eventually coming to rest upright in the fast lane of the southbound side. During the violent rollover, a child passenger was ejected from the SUV. Their current condition remains unknown. Another child was rescued from the wrecked vehicle by passing good Samaritans who stopped to help p.Rescue crews responded quickly, providing medical aid at the scene. Despite their efforts, one occupant succumbed to injuries sustained in the crash. Three additional individuals were transported to a local hospital for treatment.
