One Injured in Two-Vehicle Crash on Hwy. 118 Near Tampa Avenue
Porter Ranch, CA – April 29 — A two-vehicle collision on State Route 118 in Porter Ranch on Tuesday afternoon left one person injured, according to the California Highway Patrol. The crash was reported at approximately 12:26 p.m. on the 118 Freeway near Tampa Avenue. Authorities stated that a silver Toyota RAV4 and a blue Toyota Corolla were involved in the incident. Investigators also indicated that a third vehicle, described as a black Ford Raptor, may have been connected to the crash and was located nearby. Emergency responders arrived at the scene and found one injured individual, identified only as a female. She was transported to Northridge Hospital Medical Centre for medical care after complaining of chest pain. The extent of her injuries has not yet been released. Personnel from the Los Angeles County Fire Department assisted at the scene by providing medical aid and helping secure the area. Two services were requested to clear the damaged vehicles from the roadway.
