Yuba City, CA – July 30, 2025 – A tragic motorcycle crash claimed the life of a 62‑year‑old Live Oak man on Wednesday morning on Highway 99 near Bogue Road. The fatal collision occurred around 8:45 a.m. as the man was riding a Harley‑Davidson Heritage Power Glide northbound on Highway 99, approaching the intersection under a green light. At the same time, a white Nissan Rogue, driven by 65‑year‑old Amarjit Singh of Yuba City, was heading south behind an aggregate truck. According to the California Highway Patrol, the truck slowed as it neared the intersection of Bogue Road, also under a green light, before turning left into a closed construction zone. Investigators are continuing to piece together the sequence of events that led to the deadly crash.
