The tragic collision occurred in the early morning hours. It prompted a response from emergency personnel and law enforcement officers, who arrived at the scene to assist and investigate the circumstances surrounding the incident.

According to preliminary reports, the crash occurred at approximately 4:53 a.m. when Miranda was driving a 2009 Toyota Corolla southbound on Highway 43 near Orange Street.
