At Least One Killed, Two Airlifted After Serious Crash on Highway 84 in Livermore
Livermore, CA, July 15, 2025 – At least one person was killed and two others were airlifted to hospitals following a multi-vehicle collision on Highway 84 in Livermore on Tuesday evening, July 15, 2025. The crash occurred at approximately 6:19 p.m. on eastbound Highway 84, about three miles east of the 680 Freeway, according to the California Highway Patrol . Authorities reported that a blue Honda Civic and a gray Lexus were involved in the crash. One of the vehicles may have been street racing with a white pickup truck before the collision occurred. The exact circumstances are still under investigation. Emergency responders from the Livermore Police Department and the Alameda County Fire Department arrived at the scene. Tragically, at least one person was pronounced dead. Two additional individuals suffered injuries serious enough to require airlifting—one to Washington Hospital in Fremont and the other to Regional Medical Center in San Jose. Their conditions remain unknown at this time.
