Braun Levi Killed in Hit-and-Run Pedestrian Collision on Sepulveda Boulevard in Manhattan Beach
Los Angeles, CA – May 4, 2025 – A pedestrian was tragically killed in a hit-and-run collision early Sunday morning on Sepulveda Boulevard in the Manhattan Beach area, according to local authorities. The Manhattan Beach Police Department confirmed the incident occurred around 1 a.m. on May 4. The victim, identified as Braun Levi, was struck by a vehicle while walking along Sepulveda Boulevard. According to investigators, 33-year-old Jenia Belt was driving along the roadway when she allegedly struck Levi. Emergency responders arrived at the scene, but Levi was pronounced dead at the crash site due to the severity of his injuries. Following the fatal crash, Belt was located and taken into custody. She is facing potential charges of DUI and murder in connection with the incident. Authorities confirmed she is being held without bail as the investigation continues.
