Celebrity NFT Scammer Among Four Arrested After Crash into House in Culver City

General

Culver City, November 16, 2024 – 9:45 PM – A dramatic police pursuit ended in a crash on the 405 Freeway at the Culver City exit, with a vehicle slamming into a house. The incident began when California Highway Patrol (CHP) officers pursued a vehicle northbound on the 405 from Sepulveda. After the suspects exited Washington Boulevard and re-entered the freeway southbound, CHP lost sight of the vehicle as it exited at Culver. Shortly after, officers located the car crashed into a home at the exit’s curve.

There were four individuals trapped inside the vehicle, but with assistance from the Culver City Fire Department (CCFD) and CHP, all were safely rescued. The suspects were arrested, though three were later released. The crash caused significant damage to approximately 300 feet of guardrail, and Caltrans was called to remove the damaged barrier before the car could be towed. A video of the incident shows the vehicle being pulled from the house with the help of a heavy tow truck.

Among those in the vehicle was a known celebrity NFT scammer, Raichu “Ryan,” who was a passenger at the time of the crash.
