Huntington Beach, CA, July 25, 2025 – A late-night high-speed crash caused major damage to several homes in Huntington Beach, according to local authorities.The incident occurred around 10:47 p.m. on July 25, 2025, in the 19000 block of Newland Street. Witnesses reported that a vehicle traveling at a very high rate of speed left the roadway and slammed into three homes. Huntington Beach Fire responded, transporting both the driver and passenger to the hospital for treatment. One of the impacted homes was occupied by a woman and her infant at the time of the crash, fortunately, neither was injured.

A serious single‑vehicle crash occurred late Friday night, July 25, 2025, at approximately 10:40 p.m. on Newland Street near Yorktown Avenue in Huntington Beach, California. According to the Huntington Beach Police Department, a 17‑year‑old unlicensed driver was traveling at a high rate of speed when they lost control, striking a tree and crashing into three nearby homes. Although the vehicle’s occupants—a 17‑year‑old driver and an 18‑year‑old passenger—were transported to UCI Medical Center, none of the home residents were injured. Harbor City responders secured the damaged residences; one was temporarily yellow‑tagged pending inspection. Impairment does not appear to be a factor in the crash.
