Hom Lotakhoon Arrested after Major Injury Collision on Clear Creek Road
Redding, CA –December 21- A 49-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence following a major injury collision that occurred Sunday on Clear Creek Road, according to the Redding Police Department. The crash happened on Clear Creek Road west of Highway 273. Investigators determined that Hom Lotakhoon was driving an Infiniti westbound when he made a left turn into a closed business driveway directly in front of an eastbound Ram pickup truck, causing a violent collision. Both drivers sustained major injuries and were transported to local hospitals for treatment. A Drug Recognition Expert with the Redding Police Department evaluated Lotakhoon and determined he was under the influence of narcotics. Lotakhoon was arrested for felony DUI causing injury and booked into the Shasta County Jail after being medically cleared. The investigation remains ongoing.
