Jewelry Store Heist Reported in Woodland Hills After Rooftop Break-In
Woodland Hills, CA , June 17, 2025– A brazen early morning burglary targeted a jewelry store near the intersection of Canoga Avenue and Ventura Boulevard on Tuesday, with three suspects executing a calculated rooftop entry and making off with an unknown amount of jewelry. The incident occurred around 4:00 a.m. when the suspects reportedly gained access to the building adjacent to the jewelry store by cutting a hole in its roof. Once inside, the intruders used a ladder to descend and then breached the wall separating the two businesses to reach the jewelry store itself. Surveillance footage and initial assessments by responding officers from the Los Angeles Police Department revealed the suspects took a calculated approach, spending significant time inside the premises before escaping with an undetermined quantity of valuable merchandise. Authorities believe this heist may be linked to a similar jewelry store burglary reported just a day earlier in the Topanga area. The LAPD is reviewing both incidents for similarities in entry methods and suspect descriptions.
