Desert Hot Springs, CA, September 7, 2025– Authorities have identified the victim of a fatal e-bike collision Sunday morning as 67-year-old Laura Harker of Desert Hot Springs, according to the Riverside County Coroner’s Office. The deadly accident occurred shortly after 7:00 a.m. on Pierson Boulevard, just west of North Indian Canyon. Investigators said the driver of a Ford F-150 pickup truck failed to notice Harker, who was riding a Sasikeibike along the right side of the eastbound lane. The truck struck the e-bike from behind, fatally injuring Harker.
