Linn County, OR (January 17, 2025) – Theodore Kleinman, 79, of Redmond, tragically died in a head-on collision on State Route 22 last Friday. The crash also resulted in injuries to Delores Ann Carroll, 76, and Glenn L. Carroll, 51, both from Rosemond.
According to the Oregon State Police, the accident occurred at around 11:34 a.m. on January 17, near milepost 64 of State Route 22. Preliminary reports suggest that Kleinman was driving a red Cadillac eastbound on the highway when he lost control, veering off the road and colliding head-on with a blue Ford F-150 driven by Ann Carroll.
Both Kleinman and Ann Carroll suffered serious injuries and were transported to a local hospital. Glenn Carroll, a passenger in the Ford, sustained non-life-threatening injuries.
Kleinman succumbed to his injuries later at the hospital. The highway was closed for about four hours while investigators worked at the scene.
The Oregon State Police are continuing to investigate the incident.
