Los Angeles, CA (January 20, 2025) – Eldon Rangel, 38, was tragically killed in a car crash on Saturday night in the unincorporated Florence-Firestone area of Los Angeles.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision occurred at around 10:48 p.m. on 94th Street and Alameda Street. The crash involved a yellow Bronco SUV and a black sedan.

Rangel, who was driving one of the vehicles, was pronounced dead at the scene by the Los Angeles County Office of Medical Examiner. Authorities have confirmed that another person involved in the accident was arrested.

Details regarding the circumstances of the crash and the arrested individual’s charges have not yet been disclosed.
