Bakersfield, CA – May 18, 2025 – Luis Fernando Camacena, 21, of Bakersfield, was identified as the man who died in a traffic collision that occurred in Bakersfield on the evening of May 18, according to the Kern County Coroner’s Office. The fatal accident happened around 9:40 p.m. on Highway 166, just west of Old River Road. Two trucks were involved in the crash, though the exact cause of the collision has not yet been determined by authorities. Camacena, who was operating one of the trucks, was pronounced dead at the scene . Officials have not released further information as the investigation into the incident remains ongoing.
