Major Injuries Reported in Multi-Vehicle Crash on SR-60 Near Hacienda Boulevard in Hacienda Heights
Hacienda Heights, CA – March 12 – At least one person sustained major injuries Thursday morning following a multi-vehicle collision on State Route 60 in Hacienda Heights, according to the California Highway Patrol. Authorities reported that the crash occurred at approximately 8:34 a.m. in the eastbound lanes of State Route 60 just west of the Hacienda Boulevard off-ramp. Preliminary information indicates that several vehicles were involved in the collision. A white work truck reportedly struck the center divider wall, contributing to a chain-reaction crash involving multiple vehicles. Investigators later determined that as many as six vehicles may have been involved, and a semi-truck was also believed to be part of the incident. Following the impact, one of the vehicles reportedly came to rest facing the wrong direction along the right shoulder of the highway.
