Man Found Injured in Roadway After Reported Stabbing at Vista Pointe Apartments in Colton
Colton, CA, July 10, 2025 – Authorities in Colton are investigating a disturbing incident in which a man was found lying in the roadway following a possible stabbing early Thursday morning. The emergency call was reported around 12:23 a.m. at the Vista Pointe Apartments, located at 2170 North Rancho Avenue. Responding officers from the Colton Police Department, along with fire and medical personnel, arrived at the scene and discovered a male victim down in the roadway outside the apartment complex. He was transported to a local hospital, though his condition remains undisclosed at this time. Police have not confirmed whether the victim was stabbed or struck by a vehicle, and the nature of the injuries is still under investigation. North Rancho Avenue was closed in both directions while detectives examined the scene and collected evidence.
