Moises Robles Identified as Victim in Fatal Bicycle Crash on Chester Avenue in Bakersfield
Bakersfield, CA – April 15 – Authorities have identified the bicyclist who died following a collision last week in Bakersfield as 83-year-old Moises Alvarez Robles, according to the Kern County Coroner’s Office. The incident occurred at approximately 1:14 p.m. in the 300 block of Chester Avenue. Preliminary findings indicate that Robles was riding a bicycle when he was struck by a vehicle under circumstances that remain unclear.Emergency responders transported Robles to Kern Medical for treatment. Despite medical efforts, he succumbed to his injuries two days later. According to the Bakersfield Police Department, investigators have not determined whether alcohol or drugs were factors in the crash.
