Halloran Summit, CA – August 17, 2025 – A deadly semi-truck collision left one person dead and another injured early Sunday morning on Interstate 15 near Halloran Summit. The California Highway Patrol reported the crash at around 6:13 a.m. near mile marker 170. A black SUV rear-ended a semi-truck, causing both vehicles to come to rest on opposite sides of the freeway. One person was pronounced dead at the scene, while another was transported by ground ambulance to a hospital. Their current condition has not been disclosed. The semi-truck driver was not injured.
