Desert Hot Springs, CA – March 19, 2025 – A fatal collision involving a motorhome claimed the life of a 74-year-old man from Bend, Oregon, Wednesday evening, according to the California Highway Patrol (CHP). The crash occurred at approximately 4:15 p.m. on North Indian Canyon Drive, north of 14th Avenue. Authorities reported that the man was driving a white BMW when he collided with a motorhome under unclear circumstances. Emergency responders rushed the BMW driver to Desert Regional Medical Center, where he was later pronounced deceased. Officials have stated that alcohol and drugs are not suspected to have been factors in the crash.
