Los Angeles, CA – September 3, 2025 – A deadly crash early Wednesday morning left one person dead and another injured in the Griffith Park area of Los Angeles. The California Highway Patrol reported that the accident happened around 3:20 a.m. on the northbound 5 Freeway near the transition road to the 134 Freeway. Two cars collided, and one of them caught fire with an occupant trapped inside. The Los Angeles Fire Department responded but tragically pronounced the victim deceased at the scene. An occupant from the second vehicle was evaluated for injuries. Authorities are investigating the cause of the fiery collision.
