Oscar Navarro Killed in Multi-Vehicle Crash on I-215 Near University Avenue in Riverside
Riverside, CA – April 20 – A 35-year-old man was killed, and at least one other person was injured early Monday morning in a multi-vehicle collision on Interstate 215 in Riverside, according to the California Highway Patrol. Authorities identified the victim as Oscar Navarro, who was pronounced dead following the crash. The collision occurred at approximately 1:24 a.m. on the southbound side of Interstate 215, just south of the University Avenue overpass. Preliminary information indicates that multiple vehicles were involved, including a motorcycle, pickup trucks, and a semi-truck. Officials reported that a motorcycle was found down in the HOV lane, while other vehicles became disabled and blocked several lanes of traffic. Investigators believe the incident escalated into a chain-reaction crash as multiple vehicles collided along the freeway.
