Pedestrian Injured in Crash at Clinton and Yale Avenues
Fresno, CA – March 1 – A pedestrian was injured Sunday evening after being struck by a vehicle at an intersection in Fresno, authorities reported. According to the Fresno Police Department, the collision occurred at approximately 7:53 p.m. at Clinton Avenue and Yale Avenue. Officers and firefighters responded to reports of a pedestrian crash and located the victim suffering from minor injuries.Paramedics transported the injured pedestrian to a hospital for treatment. The driver involved remained at the scene and cooperated with investigators. Authorities have not yet determined who was at fault, and the incident remains under investigation.Pedestrian safety continues to be a significant concern in Fresno. In 2025, the city was ranked the seventh most dangerous metropolitan area in the nation for pedestrians by Smart Growth America, following years of increasing pedestrian-related fatalities.
