Atascadero, CA – December 1, 2025 – A 69-year-old woman was struck and killed Monday morning on a Highway 101 off-ramp in Atascadero, according to the California Highway Patrol. The fatal incident occurred shortly after 10 a.m. at the San Anselmo Road off-ramp. CHP officials reported that a driver attempting to turn onto the southbound off-ramp struck a woman who was walking in the crosswalk. The victim was identified as Rachel Hoffman of Atascadero.
