Riverside, CA (January 17, 2025) – A devastating collision on Wednesday afternoon resulted in the death of 40-year-old Nicholas Pitcock after his electric scooter was struck by a vehicle.

According to authorities, the fatal crash happened at approximately 4:40 p.m. near the intersection of La Sierra Avenue and Spaulding Drive. Pitcock, a Riverside resident, was traveling southbound in the northbound lanes of La Sierra Avenue on an electric scooter when he was hit head-on by a vehicle driven by a 21-year-old woman.
