Six Injured in Multi-Vehicle Crash on I-15 in Cajon Pass Amid Heavy Fog
Cajon Pass, CA – May 2, 2025 – A major crash involving five vehicles injured six people Friday morning on Interstate 15 in the Cajon Pass, according to the California Highway Patrol. The collision occurred around 10:49 a.m. in the northbound lanes near mile marker 25.70, just north of Highway 138. At the time of the crash, dense fog had reduced visibility to approximately 50 feet, creating hazardous driving conditions. Emergency crews from the San Diego Fire Department arrived to find multiple victims suffering from various injuries, including head, back, chest, arm, and leg trauma. At least one individual was reported to be bleeding . Paramedics transported all six injured individuals to nearby hospitals for further treatment. The roadway was temporarily closed while responders worked to extricate trapped occupants and remove the damaged vehicles. The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
