According to the Los Angeles Fire Department, the collision occurred just before 7:38 a.m. at 966 S. San Francisco Street, near the Grammy Museum. Authorities said the vehicle struck a light pole and caught fire upon impact.Firefighters quickly arrived on the scene and extinguished the flames. One person was trapped inside the burning vehicle and had to be extricated by rescue crews.
