Three Injured in Two-Vehicle Crash on I-80 Near West Paoli Lane Off-Ramp in Colfax
Colfax, CA – March 28 – Three people were injured Saturday morning following a two-vehicle collision on Interstate 80 in Colfax, according to the California Highway Patrol. Authorities reported that the crash occurred at approximately 9:21 a.m. in the westbound lanes near the West Paoli Lane off-ramp. Preliminary information indicates that a blue Subaru and a green Acura were involved in the collision. One of the vehicles sustained significant front-end damage and came to rest facing the wrong direction in the center divider. Officials reported that two individuals were trapped inside one of the vehicles, and airbags were deployed in at least one car. Emergency responders arrived at the scene and provided medical assistance before transporting three victims to a nearby hospital for further treatment. The extent of the injuries has not been disclosed.
