72-Year-Old Man Killed, Woman Injured in Hit-and-Run Crash on Almaden Avenue and Virginia Street in San Jose

Early Friday morning, May 30, 2025, a tragic hit-and-run incident occurred near the intersection of South Almaden Avenue and West Virginia Street in San Jose, California. At approximately 2:45 a.m., a blue Nissan Sentra traveling westbound on Virginia Street struck two pedestrians—72-year-old Richard Evans, who was in a motorized wheelchair, and his companion, Julia Aguilera.
