The crash occurred around 2:36 a.m. when a gas tanker truck collided with a semi-truck and trailer for unknown reasons. One of the trucks struck an electrical pole, resulting in a power outage in the area. Both drivers sustained minor injuries, and one was transported to a hospital for further treatment. Fuel was spilled during the crash, prompting response teams to manage the hazardous material and secure the scene.

Investigators report that one of the trucks, a trailer-rig traveling eastbound on Maple Avenue, reportedly failed to stop at a stop sign. It collided with another semi-truck, and the impact caused both vehicles to strike a power pole, resulting in downed live wires and a brush fire at the scene. Over 300 customers lost electrical service in the area while crews worked to clear the site.
