Morena, CA – December 4, 2025   A 35-year-old man was killed early Thursday morning after being struck by a vehicle while walking along Pacific Highway in Morena, according to the California Highway Patrol. The collision occurred around 4 a.m. near 4850 Pacific Highway. CHP investigators said the pedestrian was walking on the northbound side of the roadway as a 2004 Honda Civic approached. The driver attempted to swerve right to avoid him but was unable to. The Honda hit the pedestrian and then crashed into a parked Toyota Prius on the east curb. The victim was transported to a hospital, where he was pronounced dead. The driver of the Honda, a 30-year-old woman, remained at the scene and was not suspected of driving under the influence. CHP is continuing to investigate the circumstances of the fatal crash.
