Fresno County, CA., July 1, 2025 – 86-year-old Mary Bonds of Fresno was killed in a head-on collision Monday afternoon, July 1, 2025, in Fresno County, according to the Fresno County Coroner’s Office. The fatal crash occurred at approximately 12:35 p.m. on Butler Avenue west of Fowler Avenue. According to the California Highway Patrol, Bonds was driving a Nissan Versa eastbound on Butler Avenue when she veered into the westbound lane for unknown reasons and collided head-on with a Chevrolet Silverado.
