San Francisco, CA, July 29, 2025, A chaotic 10‑vehicle crash on Highway 101 just south of Vermont Street left multiple people injured Tuesday, according to authorities. The incident began when a woman allegedly assaulted an employee at a local business before fleeing in a white Chevy pickup truck. She entered Highway 101 northbound, driving recklessly, and collided with several vehicles, potentially having struck others before merging onto the freeway. The crash ultimately involved ten vehicles. The woman attempted to escape on foot but was quickly apprehended. She sustained minor injuries, while five or six other victims were transported to area hospitals with non‑life‑threatening injuries.
