Ryan Mark Larson, 37, Killed in Multi-Vehicle Crash at Goldenwest Street and Heil Avenue in Huntington Beach
Huntington Beach, CA – December 2, 2025 – A 37-year-old Huntington Beach man, identified as Ryan Mark Larson, was killed Tuesday afternoon in a multi-vehicle collision at a busy Huntington Beach intersection, according to local authorities. The crash occurred around 2:45 p.m. at the intersection of Goldenwest Street and Heil Avenue. Investigators with the Huntington Beach Police Department reported that a gray Tesla Model 3 was speeding eastbound on Heil Avenue when the driver lost control at the intersection. The Tesla crashed into multiple vehicles, sending debris into other lanes and striking additional cars. Larson was a passenger in a black vehicle that overturned due to the force of the impact. Emergency crews pronounced him dead at the scene. Three other individuals were transported to the hospital with injuries of unknown severity. Officials confirmed that an Orange County Probation Department vehicle was among those involved. Two officers inside the vehicle sustained injuries, and one was transported to a hospital for treatment.
