According to local authorities, the fatal incident occurred at approximately 5:30 p.m. on Bullard Avenue near Temperance Avenue. A woman driving a Toyota Camry westbound on Bullard Avenue struck the boy, who was riding his bicycle in the same direction. Cheema, a student at Clark Intermediate School, was not wearing a helmet at the time of the collision. First responders arrived on the scene and sadly pronounced him deceased. The Clovis Police Department is actively investigating the circumstances surrounding the crash. No further details have been released at this time.
