1 Injured in El Monte Car Crash on 10 Freeway near Baldwin Avenue
El Monte, CA, May 22, 2025 – One person was injured in a multi-vehicle collision that occurred early Thursday morning on the 10 Freeway in El Monte. The crash happened at approximately 3:06 a.m. on the San Bernardino (10) Freeway at the Baldwin Avenue off-ramp, according to the California Highway Patrol . Authorities reported that a black Honda sedan was traveling the wrong way on the freeway when it collided with a white vehicle. A third vehicle was also involved in the crash. The driver of the Honda became trapped inside the vehicle and had to be extricated by firefighters from the Los Angeles County Fire Department. The individual was then transported to a local hospital for treatment. The extent of their injuries has not been disclosed.
