68-Year-Old Arrested in Connection With Fatal San Francisco Shooting
San Francisco, CA – May 28 — A 68-year-old man has been arrested in connection with a deadly shooting that occurred earlier this month in San Francisco’s Taraval District, according to the San Francisco Police Department. Authorities identified the suspect as Philippe Chagniot, a San Francisco resident. Investigators said the shooting took place shortly after 5 a.m. on May 17 in the 2500 block of 46th Street. Officers responded to the scene at approximately 5:21 a.m. and discovered a victim suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. Emergency responders provided medical assistance, but the victim later died from injuries sustained in the shooting.
