Investigators said Gary Copas, 30, of Victorville, was riding a Yamaha R7 motorcycle eastbound with Farfan as his passenger when a Nissan Titan, driven by Jesus Blancas, 29, of Apple Valley, entered Bear Valley Road and merged into the motorcycle’s lane. According to authorities, the motorcycle struck the rear of the pickup truck, ejecting both riders.
