Burn Permit Suspension Set To End in San Diego County
San Diego, CA, November 19, 2025 – Cal Fire officials announced that residential and agricultural burning will once again be allowed in San Diego County beginning Friday, following the lift of the countywide burn permit suspension. San Diego County will begin on Friday. According to Cal Fire, anyone with a valid and current agricultural or residential burn permit will be permitted to burn from 8 a.m. until sunset on designated burn days. Agricultural burns must undergo a Cal Fire inspection before ignition, and some residential burns may also require inspection depending on location and conditions. Residents are advised to contact their local Cal Fire station to confirm inspection requirements.
