Burning Vehicle Crash on Beverly Blvd. and Crescent Heights in Los Angeles
LOS ANGELES (July 25, 2025) — Four people were hospitalized, including one with serious injuries, following a fiery solo-vehicle collision early Friday morning in the Beverly Grove area of Los Angeles.
The crash occurred around 2:23 a.m. at the intersection of Beverly Boulevard and North Crescent Heights Boulevard. Authorities reported that a white BMW sedan veered off the road and struck a tree, sparking a fire.
One Trapped Inside Burning Vehicle
When Los Angeles Fire Department crews arrived, they discovered one person trapped inside the burning vehicle. Firefighters worked for nearly an hour using specialized rescue tools to free the driver from the mangled wreckage, which had sustained significant front-end damage.
Three additional passengers were transported to nearby hospitals with moderate to minor injuries, officials confirmed.
Investigation Ongoing
The Los Angeles Police Department’s West Traffic Division is investigating the cause of the crash. Investigators are looking into whether speed, impairment, or other factors played a role.
