Roseville, CA – May 10 — Authorities have identified the man killed in a two-vehicle collision Sunday night in Roseville as 47-year-old George Habeeb, according to the Placer County Sheriff’s Office Coroner Division. The fatal crash occurred shortly after 9 p.m. at the intersection of Baseline Road and Canyon Creek Drive. Police said the collision involved a BMW and a white van. Investigators reported that the BMW was traveling westbound on Baseline Road when the white van entered the roadway from Canyon Creek Drive, resulting in the crash. Habeeb, who was driving the van, died as a result of the collision. Officials have not released information regarding any additional injuries connected to the incident. According to the Roseville Police Department, the driver of the BMW remained at the scene and cooperated with investigators. Authorities also stated that alcohol is not believed to have been a factor in the crash.
